Flat Black/Red brings the E-Cruiser's classic Huntington Beach style into sharp focus, with a matte black finish and red accents inspired by the SkullXBones cruiser that started it all. It is remarkably light at 55 lb for an eBike with up to 85 Nm of torque, easy to live with on the street, boardwalk, and everyday coastal rides.

The E-Cruiser advantage
- Natural torque or cadence assist: Switch between responsive 6-pin torque sensing, which adds power in proportion to your pedal effort, and steady cadence assist. Both modes offer 5 levels of support.
- Strong electric power: A Bafang 750W rear-hub motor delivers up to 85 Nm of torque for confident starts and hill climbing.
- Removable, key-locking battery: The 48V/13Ah battery uses premium LG 5.0 21700 cells in a UL 2849-certified system. Remove it with the key for convenient indoor charging.
- Balanced electronics: A 22A controller and 30A BMS support consistent power delivery. The controller is integrated cleanly into the cruiser rather than mounted as a bulky external box.
- Premium road package: Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, a KMC Rust Buster chain, heavy-duty 12G spokes, integrated smart lighting, and an active brake-responsive tail light.

E-Cruiser FAQ
Is the HBBC E-Cruiser a Class 2 or Class 3 e-bike?
It ships as a Class 2 e-bike, with throttle and pedal assist up to 20 mph. Pedal-assist speed can be raised to 28 mph through a password-protected display setting, which is Class 3 operation where permitted. The throttle remains limited to 20 mph. California and other local rules can vary, including helmet, age, and path-access requirements, so check local regulations before changing the setting.
What size rider does the men's E-Cruiser fit?
Riders about 5'4" to 6'4". The Women's E-Cruiser step-through fits riders about 4'11" to 5'11". Maximum payload is 300 lb, rider and cargo combined.
How far does it go on a charge, and how long does charging take?
Up to 50 miles with pedal assist, or approximately 28–35 miles on throttle-only riding, depending on rider weight, terrain, speed, temperature, tire pressure, and assist level. A full charge takes 4–6 hours with the included 2A charger. The battery removes with a key so you can charge it indoors.
What's the difference between torque and cadence assist?
Torque mode measures how hard you press the pedals and adds matching power, so it feels like a regular bike with a tailwind. Cadence mode gives steady power whenever the pedals are turning, for a more relaxed ride. You can switch between modes on the display, and both work across all 5 assist levels.
How does it hold up to beach and salt air?
The E-Cruiser uses a KMC Rust Buster chain, an IPX7 display, an IP65 controller, and an IPX5-rated battery. Wipe it down after beach rides, keep pressure washers away from the electronics, and clean the brake rotors with rubbing alcohol to help keep braking strong.
How is it shipped, and what assembly is required?
Shipping is a flat $150 to the lower 48 US states. The bike arrives approximately 85% assembled; you install the front wheel, handlebars, and pedals.
What is the return policy?
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for unused, unassembled bikes in original packaging. The buyer pays return shipping, a 20% restocking fee applies, and original shipping is non-refundable. Assembled or ridden bikes cannot be returned. If your bike arrives damaged, photograph it and email info@hbbcinc.com within 48 hours without assembling. Full return policy
